Bonnie Dean Bloom, 74, of Colorado Springs formerly of Fort Collins, died April 29, 2010 at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. Bonnie was born August 19, 1935 in Fort Collins to Fred and Opal Newberry Whicker. Ms. Bloom lived most of her life in Colorado. She was a foster mother, and everyone called her ?mom?. Bonnie loved her kids and grandkids unconditionally. She enjoyed fishing, camping, the ocean and flying. Survivors include her sons, Jimmie Ramage of Fort Collins, Freddie Bloom of Casper, Wyoming; daughter, Tanya Bloom of Colorado Springs; sister, Donna Ersch of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and six grandchildren, Brian Mills, Emily Bloom, Joshua Bloom, Cody Ramage, Mekhi Whicker, Briyar Whicker-Wheese; and three great-granddaughters. Bonnie loved Koby, her miniature schnauzer that was a constant companion to her for over nine years. Her grandchildren made her life a brighter place. When nothing else could make her smile, her grandkids made her day. She loved being a part of each of their lives as much as possible. Proceeding Bonnie in death is her son, Ricky Mills; brothers, Herschel Snider and Gene Loggins. A Funeral Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mrs. Bloom, Wednesday, 12:00 ? 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, 12:00 ? 7:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
