Bobby Joy

Bobby Lou Joy, 80, of Fort Collins, died July 19, 2008. Mrs. Joy was born Sept. 21, 1927, in Billings, Mont., to John Ahlquist and Thelma Jorgenson Ahlquist. Mrs. Joy lived the last three years of her life in Fort Collins, moving from Casper, Wyo. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoyed being outside near the mountains. Survivors include her son, Eric Joy; three daughters, Karen Wright, Kathy Mitchell, and Vickie Joy; a sister, Janet Ahlquist, five grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Bobby's husband, Marvin preceded her in death. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
