Bob Gomez

Bob Gomez passed away on July 13, 2008 as a result of a motorcycle accident near Walden. Bob was born in Cortez, to Guillermo and Liziada Gomez. He was an Elementary School Psychologist in the Poudre School District for thirty years. The majority of his time was spent at Irish Elementary. He is survived by his wife, Kathi Gomez; son, Kevin Herzog of Nebraska; sisters, Cris Lucero and Liz Gomez of Durango, Carol Charles Moon of Alabama, Toni Don Gardner of Kentucky; brothers, John Dorothy Gomez of Cortez, Phil Tonita Gomez of Pueblo, and All Bette Gomez , and Gary Kathleen Gomez of Denver. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the Bingo Planet on 900 North College. The family invites everyone to come celebrate the joy that Bob brought to all of our lives. All are invited to "Bob's Garage" 3473 Bridget Lane, LaPorte immediately following the celebration. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society and the Irish Elementary Scholarship Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
