Billy Young

Billy Rex Young, 80, of Fort Collins, died July 30, 2006, at Hospice in Loveland. Billy was born in Maramec, Okla., to Jacob and Ollie Young. He married Alice J. Henderson, Sept. 14, 1951, in Fairfield, Ill. Billy is survived by his wife, Alice J. and two children; daughter, Alice Louise Young, of Olney, Ill.; son, Billy R. Young II, of Fort Collins; two grandchildren, Michael Shane Young of Fort Collins, and Amanda L. Armstrong, and husband Nick Armstrong and four great-grandchildren Adrian Young, Tony, Josh, and Savanna Armstrong all of Fort Collins; sisters, Wanda J. Taylor of Olney, Ill, Pat Gallion of Channahon, Ill, Connie Hosselton of Clay City, Ill., and Karen Miller of Noble, Ill. He was preceded in death by parents, Jacob and Ollie Young, and brother, Alton D. Young. Billy was a WWII Navy veteran. He loved being in the mountains, and working on his cars. Cremated according to his wishes and no services.
