Billie Michelle Val'Dez Atencio

Billie Michelle Val'Dez Atencio, 53, of Fort Collins, passed away at home on August 16, 2011. As God's gift, Billie was born July 19, 1958 to Betty Juanita Maxwell and Harry Pritchard, as a sibling of fourteen she was raised by her aunt and uncle, Emma and William Val'Dez. Billie was exceptionally talented at piano, singing and also possessed an exceptional gift with nature. She enjoyed horseback riding, music, gardening and going for a ride on the "Harley". Her greatest joy of all was that of her family. Billie was young at heart with an unforgettable smile. She had a profound appreciation for the simplest joys in life and she carried a strong faith in the Lord and respected all of His creations. Billie was preceded in death by her mother, Betty; her parents, Emma and William; and eldest sister, Francis. Billie is survived by her three daughters, Nicolette Dominquez, Brittany Atencio and Tiffany Rohde; and three grandchildren, Alyssa, Austin, and Tyler. She is also survived by brothers and sisters from the Blanco and Trujillo families. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
