TEAM BILL Bill Jubert, 52, of Bellvue, passed peacefully at Poudre Valley Hospital on October 11, 2010, from complications of meningococcal meningitis. He fought the effects of the disease for four months with the support of his wife and two daughters. He fought hard to overcome this disease, survived it and actually was released from the hospital and made it home for four days before other complications arose. Bill was born in Hamel, MN, on April 26, 1958 to Arthur and Rita Jubert. He married Joy Jubert on October 18, 1986, worked and traveled and came to Fort Collins in 1987 to work at Budweiser as a maintenance technician. Bill and Joy have two daughters, Kayla and Jalyn. He loved the outdoors. He spent many hours with his family and friends skiing, hiking, camping, jeeping, and riding his motorcycles. He loved playing hockey and played with the Fort Collins Adult Hockey Association for many years. He was a loyal member of the Teamsters Local 267. Bill had many interests and talents. He was an inventor, woodworker, metal artist, master welder, and gardener. He could do anything that he set his mind to. He loved his family and enjoyed sharing a beer with his friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Joy and daughters Kayla and Jalyn of Bellvue; his mother, Rita Jubert; brothers David, Kenneth, and Thomas Nancy Jubert; sisters Kathleen Paul Vashro, and Diane Rouillard all of Minnesota; mother and father-in-law Max and Carolyn Nelson of Arizona; nieces Jessica Rouillard, Meagan and Madison Nelson, Charli Jubert and great niece Ava Neumann; nephews Bruce Neumann Jr., Hayden Jubert, Trevor Beurrier, and great nephew Ethan Neumann. He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Jubert and brother, James. His generous spirit has touched so many. He lived his life fully and with no regrets. He always kept his daughters, Kayla and Jalyn, close. We have been fortunate to have this extra time with him. He will be greatly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 15, 2:00 p.m. at Timberline Church, South Auditorium, 2908 S. Timberline Rd., Fort Collins. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kayla and Jalyn Educational Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins, CO 80524.
