Beverly I. Emanuel, 86, of Fort Collins, died on August 23, 2012 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Emanuel was born January 10, 1926 in Fort Collins to Carl Skold and Hallee Townsend Clark Beverly married Robert C. Emanuel on February 12, 1946 in Fort Collins. Mrs. Emanuel lived in Fort Collins most of her life graduating from Fort Collins High School in 1944. She was a homemaker although she cooked for various restaurants in Fort Collins. Beverly was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and cooked for many years in their café. She enjoyed all kinds of crafts including tole painting. She also enjoyed playing cards with friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Bonnie Jaramillo Robert of Fort Collins; Gerald Emanuel Myrna of Benton, Utah, Joe Emanuel Gay of Fort Collins, Annette Beck Mitch of Fort Collins; and brother, Charles Skold of Westminster, Colorado; and ten grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Preceding Beverly in death are her parents; her husband, Robert; one sister and one brother. A Rosary will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mrs. Emanuel from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of choice in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
