Colorado born and raised Beverly Joy Anderson, 83, of Laporte, CO entered into the Gates of Heaven on September 10, 2020. Beverly was born in Lamar, CO to Charles L and Hazel (Hainer) Hodges on April 16, 1937.
Her family lived and worked in various towns in Colorado, and settled in Wellington, CO where they grew up.
Beverly held jobs at Forneys and Teledyne, and enjoyed driving school bus for Poudre R1. She loved crocheting and sewing. She thoroughly loved to fish and never left home without her pole and a tackle box. She had a "great" passion for playing Bingo. It was extremely exciting to watch her play and win! She thrived on dressing to the nines, loved her glam and dressing for every occasion.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randy W Loofboro; her parents, Charles L & Hazel Hodges; 2 brothers, Darrell & Dwayne Hodges; and a sister, Charlene Glass.
She is survived by a brother, Marvin (Marilyn) Hodges; a sister, Sharon (Bruce) Michael; & a sister-in-law, Verda Hodges. 3 children - Ken (Dixie) Loofboro; Sandy (Steve) McCleery-Greenburg & Cindy (Kelly Evans) Loofboro. 8 grandchildren - Justin, Kimmy, Tonya, Brian, Benae, Haley, Jessica & Randi Rae. 11 great-grandchildren - Bridgett, Abagale, Makenna, Jenica, Arianna, Brittnay, Aviana, Josiah, Carlitos, Nathanyl & Kayden. She has 1 great-grandson, Ethan Daniel and much love for many nieces and nephews.
And, there are not enough words to say "thank you" to our Aunt Marilyn for her many years of love and devotion to our Mom. We love you very much.
The Visitation will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday, September 15.
Graveside Service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 16.
