Betty Irene Richardson was born to Jacob and Erma Knull on October 28, 1927 in Denver, Colorado and went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2010. She accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour as a young girl in the Tabernacle, now known as the First Baptist Church of Englewood. She worked in the church office and in various ministries over the years and met her husband, Donald Earl Richardson, there. They were married on June 18, 1948 and to this union five children were born: Ricky Ray, Deborah Kae Michael Pallaoro, Donald Paul Patsy Richardson, Stephen Kent Jolyn Richardson, and Daniel Lee Deborah Richardson. She enjoyed her grandchildren: Pete, Amy Matt Hissem, Sarah, Anna, Andy, Adam, Alex Pallaoro; Tammy, Timothy, Tiffany Adam Guyette, Tony Richardson; Jake Gina, Angie, Brandon, Tucker Richardson; and Breanna Jason Price, Benjamin, Jeremy and Lisa Richardson. And great-grandchildren, Crystal and Victor. Her life was centered around serving the Lord as a pastor's wife for over 40 years, working with Jolly Sixties, Helping Hands Ministry and in her later years as a prayer warrior. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, her husband of 53 years, her son, Ricky Ray; and grandsons, Pete Andrew Pallaoro and Stephen Jake Richardson. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Englewood, 3190 S. Broadway, Englewood, Colorado. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. Pastor Clifton Mizer will officiate.
