Betty Jane Lytle, 98, of Ft. Collins passed away April 8, 2017 at Medical Center of the Rockies. Betty was born June 7, 1918 in Denver, Colorado to Raymond Timberman and Opal Mae Murrow Timberman. Betty was raised in Last Chance, Colorado. She married Elzy J. Lytle in Akron, Colorado on September 30, 1937. They moved to Ft. Collins in 1949. Betty was a rancher with Elzy. She enjoyed Bingo and slot machines.
Survivors include her son, Eugene "Rusty" Lytle and his wife, Barbie of Ft. Collins; and two grandchildren, Trevor Lytle of Billings, Montana and Kaycee Lytle and his wife, Lisa of Eaton, Colorado.
Preceding Betty in death are her parents; and her husband, Elzy; two brothers, Raymond and Willard Timberman; and a sister, Leota Christner.
Those who desire may view Mrs. Lytle, Thursday, 9 a.m. —4 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
