Betty Jane Harsha

Betty J. Harsha was born on November 7, 1922, to Everett and Lula DeHanas in Afton, Oklahoma. Her parents created a loving Christian home in which she and her siblings: Isabelle, Bud, and Bill prospered in all the right ways.

On June 7, 1943, she married Truman Harsha Jr. in Miami, Oklahoma. She and Truman (deceased) had five children: Truman III (JoDell), Doug (Jonni), John (deceased), Cathy (deceased), and Jim.

Betty was a rich blessing to her eight grandchildren: Brett Harsha, Christine Anderson (Matt), Charlotte Boyce (Eric), Grace Shearer (James), Jackie Kaan (Eric), Becky Remley (Devin), Carly Harsha, and Emily Galbraith (Shawn). She was also a blessing to her eight great grandchildren.

Betty became a follower of Jesus Christ at a very early age, and she served her Lord faithfully for her entire life.

While her family and friends will miss her, we are joyfully assured that she is now Home.

We are so thankful that we who are left behind have a rich legacy of hope in Jesus Christ just like Betty, Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma.
