Betty Jean Deines, 81, of Fort Collins, died September 29, 2014 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Deines was born January 29, 1933 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to Frank and Ada Regean More. Betty married Arlo Deines in Fort Collins, Colorado on February 15, 1951. Mrs. Deines lived in Fort Collins for 69 years and was a housewife. She graduated from Cache La Poudre High School. Betty enjoyed a multitude of activities; camping, fishing and tying her own flies, bowling, home canning, processing their own meat and excelling in homemade liverwurst. Her most enjoyable times were when the family gathered and enjoyed her excellent cooking. Betty loved watching football on Sundays and of course the Broncos were her favorite team. She will also be remembered by her accurate football picks. Survivors include her husband, Arlo; son, Mark; daughters, Arlene Mike and Sandy Brit, 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Preceding Betty in death is her son, Mike Deines. A Private Family Service will be held.
