Bettie Jane Hotchkiss

Bettie Jane Hotchkiss, 87, of Fort Collins, died March 6, 2012 at a local nursing home. Mrs. Hotchkiss was born March 2, 1925 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Louie and Anna "Tedesco" Chiaro. Bettie was married to Courtlyn W. Hotchkiss in 1944. Courtlyn passed away April 1, 2001. Mrs. Hotchkiss lived all of her life in Fort Collins, graduating from Fort Collins High School. She enjoyed shopping, Oriental Art, sewing and crafts. She loved Fort Collins and her family. Survivors include her son, Kent of Fort Collins; daughter, Jana Williams of Tucson, Arizona; sister, Lena Buttorf of Fort Collins; and 4 grandchildren, Joseph Williams, Jennika Williams, Jessica Kat, and Jeremy Hotchkiss; and 1 great-grandchild, Dorian Hotchkiss. Preceding Bettie in death are her husband, Courtlyn and sister, Lucy McGuire. A Funeral Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Pastor Paul McGraw will officiate the service. Those who desire may view Mrs. Hotchkiss, Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
