Beth Cundiff Brown

Beth Cundiff Brown is now free from her earthly struggles and joyfully worshipping her Savior in heaven. She passed away March 18, 2013 at home in Fort Collins, Colorado. Beth was a beloved wife, mother, sister, friend, and teacher who inspired and touched many lives with her love for Jesus Christ. Beth trusted in God's goodness and always shared a smile with those around her. Born in 1961 in London, Kentucky, to Dillard and Lillie Cundiff, Beth received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from George Mason University. She received her elementary teaching certification from Regis University. Beth worked for many years as a volunteer, paraprofessional, and teacher at Shepardson Elementary School in Fort Collins. Her love for her students and wonderful support from the Shepardson staff and families enabled her to enjoy teaching despite frequent battles with cancer. Beth is survived by her husband of 33 years, John; her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Zach Sullivan; her son, Paul; her sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Jim Tapley; her siblings-in-law, Bill and Marilyn Brown, Betty Sloop, Ross and Cathie Brown, Evelyn and Ralph Christensen, and Bob and Mary Louise Forsythe; and many nieces and nephews. All of Beth's friends and family are invited to her memorial service at 4:30 p.m. on April 2 at First Presbyterian Church, 531 South College Avenue, Fort Collins.
