Bessie Mary Zamora, 65, of LaPorte, Colorado passed away on October 13, 2019 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Bessie was born on April 17, 1954 at home in Kersey, Colorado To Juan and Reyes Miera. Bessie lived most of her life in Ft. Collins and then moved to LaPorte.
Survivors include her husband Susano Zamora of LaPorte; two sons, DJ Zamora of LaPorte and Jason Archibeque of Greeley; two brother James Miera of Alamosa and Ben Miera of Denver; a sister Rose Mitotes of Kersey, Colorado, best friend/sister Lois Chavez of Fort Collins, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Preceding Bessie in death are her parents; two brothers, George and Alex Miera; one sister, Margaret Aragon, two daughters, and two sons.
A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, October 28, 2019 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A reception will follow the service at the Northside Atzlan Community Center, 112 E. Willow Street.
