Benjamin Curt Jackson passed away on March 17 in Fort Collins, Colorado following a brief illness. He was born to Julie and Bill Jackson in Baton Rouge on May 23, 1986.
Curt was a student at Runnels School from the age of 4, after which he graduated from LSU in Construction Management. He lived his life on his own terms and spent many happy years in Colorado, camping, hiking and snow skiing. He had a great love of music, cooking and nature.
Curt was a clever, resourceful person with a sharp wit. His family and many close friends will miss him terribly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Maudine Jackson and Bill and Mary Margaret Calk and his uncle, Stephen Hamilton Calk, husband to and survived by Martha and father of Will Calk.
He is survived by his parents, his brother, Adam (Kristy), and his niece and godchild, Julia and his nephew, Thomas as well as his uncle, Cort Calk (Terri) and cousins Lizzie, Mary, Cort and Hamilton.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
