Belinda Jane Ortivez, 65, of Fort Collins, died September 18, 2010 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Ortivez was born February 8, 1945 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Alberto and Socorro Rina Holman Alvarez. Belinda married James William Ortivez on January 24, 1981 in Fort Collins at Holy Family Catholic Church. Jim passed away June of this year. Mrs. Ortivez lived all her life in Fort Collins. She worked as a bilingual instructional aide for the Poudre R-1 School District for 22 years. Belinda enjoyed working with children, fishing, going up the mountain and she loved her dog �Chipper�. Survivors include son, Clint Sherry Williams; daughters, Marguerite Terry Borth, and Lupy Milo Ramirez all of Fort Collins; brother, Thomas A. Alvarez of Crowley, Colorado; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Belinda in death are her husband; her mother and father; and an infant grandson, Andrew Williams. A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Burial of Cremains will be at Grandview Cemetery on Monday at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Belinda Jane Ortivez Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
