Barbara Mary Ann Swanson

Barbara Mary Ann Swanson, 69, of Loveland, died August 16, 2018 at Pathways Hospice. Barbara was born September 28, 1948 in Fort Collins to Benny J. Jimenez and Mary T. Jimenez. Barbara resided in Fort Collins with her family through her college years where she became a licensed practical nurse. She met her first husband, who was in the air-force, and they had two children together. Barbara was able to travel to many places like Maryland, Wyoming, Washington, and Texas; which allowed her to complete two bachelor's degrees in nursing and become a registered nurse. Barbara was an avid tennis player and loved taking care of her family.

Survivors include her two children, Richard Swanson and Janna Swanson both of Loveland, CO.; four grandchildren, BreAnna, Dion, Demichael, and Michael; two great granddaughters, Dominika and Trinnity; four brothers, John, Chris, Tom, and Michael; four sisters, Kathy, Dorothy, Lucia, and Tina with spouses and many more extended family members.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Mary; two siblings, Mark and Theresa, and other family members.

Viewing will be held for Barbara from 9am-4pm on Thursday, August 23rd at Bohlender Funeral Chapel and a Rosary will follow at 7pm. Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 9:30am on Friday, August 24. 2018.
