Audrey D. Evans

Audrey (Dorthea) Jones Evans died peacefully on December 6, 2020 in Fort Collins at the age of 97. She was born in Jamaica, Queens in New York in 1923 to Otto and Beatrice Geist.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, William Bauer, her daughter Sandy Drewes and her son Thomas Jones. She was the loving mother of three, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of three. Audrey enjoyed her role as a homemaker and her hobbies included sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was a church Deacon and enjoyed her church family at Westminster Presbyterian in Fort Collins. She leaves behind her son and wife Robert and Susan Jones, her daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Jones, her grandchildren, Pearson Jones, Morgan Kucinski (Scott), Ashlin Jones, Robert Jones, Andrew Jones, Brian Drewes and Kristin Milligan (Allen) and three great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held. Audrey will be laid to rest in New York.
