Arnold E. Huppert, 78, of Fort Collins, died April 15, 2010 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mr. Huppert was born January 21, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Arnold and Rose Huppert. Arnold married Idell M. Mueller on October 11, 1952 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While attending the University of Madison in Milwaukee, Mr. Huppert served in the Navy Reserves. Arnold moved his family to Fort Collins in 1967 from Arlington Heights, Illinois. He worked for Teledyne Water Pik as Executive Vice President for 30 years. Arnold was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. His love of golf was shown by serving on the Board of Directors, and the Finance Board of the Fort Collins Country Club; as well as belonging to the Fox Acres Country Club. He served on the Boards of the Poudre Valley Foundation Funding, the Personnel of Care Housing, the Chamber of Commerce and Meals on Wheels, as well as delivering meals. He also belonged to the Rams Booster Club. Survivors include his wife, Idell; sons, Allen Huppert and wife, Nancy of Littleton, Colorado, John Huppert and his wife, Renee of Carthage, North Carolina; daughters, Mary Huppert Pugsley and her husband, Les of Chester, Montana, and Donna Huppert Boner and her husband, Tom of Sandy, Utah; four grandchildren, Amy Turner of Fairbanks, Alaska, Lindsey Prust and her husband, Brian of Silverthorne, Colorado, Holly Huppert Kelleher and her husband, Justin of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Patrick Boner of Sandy, Utah; and one great grandchild, Sienna Prust. Preceding Arnold in death are his three brothers. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 5450 S Lemay Ave on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Father Ken Koehler will officiate the service. Interment will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery with Deacon William Trewartha officiating. The family would like to give a special thanks to Home Instead. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association Research and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Building Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Ft.
