Arnetta "Kay" Cary was born in Thornton, CO on June 28, 1998 and passed away following a tragic car accident on March 30, 2021. She was the daughter of Keith E. and Marilyn M. Cary.
She lived in Fort Collins and attended Timnath Elementary, Boltz Jr. High and graduated from Fossil Ridge High School.
Arnetta Kay was a very talented artist, drawing and painting her own characters for the stories she wrote. She loved watching movies of all kinds including Anime and enjoyed reading books. She wanted to become a digital animator and took on-line courses at Front Range Community College.
She loved attending Comi-Con every year with her dad, family and friends. She also enjoyed playing games on the internet with her on-line friends. Kay had a great sense of humor. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed telling jokes, and making people laugh.
She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Cary.
Arnetta Kay is survived by her mother, Marilyn Cary; sister, Lisa Weber; birth mother, Paula Bolin; half sister, Amanda Carpenter; uncles, Grover Clyde Lollar (Brenda) and Carl Lollar (Helen); Aunt Barbara Davison; uncles, Steve Cary (Connie), Tom Cary (Karen), Richard Cary; many cousins including Hannah, Micah, and Noah Weber as well as Raymond and Luna Wilson.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 30, 2021 at 2:00pm at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins, CO 80524. A graveside service will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, 2718 E. Mulberry St., Fort Collins CO 80524.
