Arlene M. Hosack, 92, of Fort Collins passed away on November 16, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. Arlene was born June 30, 1930 to Marvin and Berneta (Reeves) DeVore in Oak, Nebraska. She married Galen "Glen" Hosack in September of 1965, in Fort Collins.
Arlene was an LPN for many years at local nursing homes and was an active member of the American Legion in Fort Collins. Her favorite thing to do was spend timewith her friends and family. When she wasn't with family or friends, Arlene had many hobbies that she loved. If she wasn't volunteering at hospitals and thrift stores, you could find Arlene playing bingo, hunting, fishing, knitting, crocheting, sewing, camping, and traveling.
Arlene is proceeded in death by her husband, Galen, her parents Marvin and Berneta, as well as her children; John Channel, Max Hosack, Pam Black.
Survivors include her daughter Marie Hosack Christian, two brothers; Gene DeVore and Darrell DeVore, one sister; Jenny Bender, 11 grandchildren; Trina Black, Jonathon Channel, Jamie Channel, Tracy Hayes, Michael Hosack, Crystal Hosack, April Erickson, Corey Hosack, Chad Hosack, Nikki Christian, and Damion Hinman, as well as 22 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2 pm, Monday, November 28, 2022. A Celebration of Life and potluck (bring a dish) will follow at Arlene's home: 222 N. Grant Ave., Fort Collins, CO.
