Anne K. Hoffman, born in Natchez, Mississippi on March 29, 1935, died in Fort Collins, Colorado on June 5, 2012 of a rare neurological disorder. She is survived by: her husband of 54 years, John C. Hoffman of Fort Collins, Colorado; her children, Alison Hoffman Tom D'Ambrosio of Barrington, Illinois; Jack Hoffman Pam of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Doug Hoffman Tina of Sugarland, Texas; and Celeste Blackburn Harvey of Fort Collins, Colorado; and four grandchildren, Austin and Stephanie Hoffman and Preston and Clara Blackburn and her sister, Margaret Nickle of Memphis, Tennessee. After graduating with honors from the University of Mississippi, majoring in Art, she worked for Shell Oil Company in Houston where she met her husband, John. She will be remembered for her intelligence, beauty, southern graciousness, dignity and decorum. She loved to read, garden and travel, visiting many parts of the world. Burial will be in New Orleans, Louisiana at the historic Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery on June 16, with visitation at 9:30 a.m. and the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos National Shrine at 919 Josephine Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70130.
