Anna Serna

Anna Serna of Fort Collins was called to rest on October 6, 2011. Born in Lamar, Colorado on December 1, 1926, Anna was 84 at the time of her passing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde and infant daughter, Cathy. Anna was the last surviving child of Jose and Jovita Trejo, who along with her brothers, Dave, Chon, John, Joe Pepe; and sisters, Ruth Cuco, Lupe, Carmen, Mary, Irene Trini and Connie also preceding her in death; she missed them all immensely. Her faith in God and compassion for others will live on in her children; Susan Bill Freeman, Carla Gene Earlston, Patsy Rick Ritchie, Steve Beth Serna, Clyde Serna, Jr., Mike Russ Serna, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. We along with her many friends will miss her wonderful sense of humor and infamous one-liners. A special thanks to the professional staff of Home Instead Senior Care and to her wonderful niece, Rachael, for her love and concern. Thank you all so much. A Rosary Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Blessed John 23rd University Center, 1220 University Ave. A private Interment will be held.
