Anna Ruth Roberts

Anna Ruth Roberts passed away on August 5, 2010 at the age of 95, to be with her Lord. Anna Ruth was born. on October 22, 1914 in Ft. Collins, CO. She graduated from Waverly High School in 1932. She married Roy Franklin Roberts on March 11, 1932. Her first job was picking turkeys. She later worked as a cook at the Waverly School; she also worked at Northern and Armstrong Hotels. She was a member of the Beacon Hills Baptist Church in Cheyenne, WY.
Anna Ruth was preceded in death by her husband on December 24, 1989; two sisters, Evelyn Nace, Margaret Gates; and two brothers, Fred Gibbens, and John Gibbens. She is survived by a sister, Flora Davis of Denver; three daughters, Anna Jane Shrove Donald, Irene Patterson, Rosalie Smith James of Cheyenne; and a son, Allen Roberts Ora of Everett, WA; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 25 great great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
