Anjean Rogers Robertson was born in Joliet, Illinois September 10, 1921 to parents, Gertrude Houston Rogers and James Del Rogers. She was delivered with her identical twin, Jean Rogers Soyster by their grandfather, Dr. Grant Houston. She attended Loring School for Girls, earned her pilot's license in 1937, and attended Goucher College and Drake University before World War II. She married William Robertson of Philadelphia during the War who was later stationed in England as a Naval Aviator. Anjean volunteered as a Nurse's Aide before starting a family after the war. She was an accomplished violinist, a medical assistant, and a kind, generous, optimistic, and fun loving wife and mother. She is predeceased by her two brothers, Grant Houston Rogers of Sedona, Arizona and James Del Rogers, Jr. of Joliet, Illinois. Anjean passed away in Fort Collins on September 24, 2014 at 93 years old. She is survived by her sister, Jean Rogers Soyster of Tucson, Arizona, her two daughters, Jane Clark and son-in-law Jim Clark of Fort Collins, and Janet White and son-in-law Lenny White of New Boston, New Hampshire as well as her two granddaughters, Molly White of Delanson, New York, and Megan White of New Boston. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Larimer County, Colorado. She will be greatly missed.
