Angela D. Sonday

Angela D. Sonday, 76, of Fort Collins, died November 23, 2011 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Angie, as she was affectionally known by her family and friends, was a life long resident of Fort Collins. She is mirrored in her children Joann, Darrel, Karen and Edward. She made an impression on many she met…especially those who were the recipient of her giving spirit. The first to offer a hand to family, friends or strangers, be it her last dollar, ounce of energy or as a compassionate listener. Her affection often came in the form of her cooking; especially mexican dishes, pies and other unique creations. Soon, her food was requested by family, friends and acquaintances who sampled her love-infused dishes. She will forever be a part of our lives. Angie was the daughter of Casildo and Trinidad Mosqueda. She is survived by her children, grandson Darrel Sonday III and siblings Henry and Gloria and many nieces, nephews and treasured friends. Preceded in death by siblings Natividad, Andrew, Ernestine, Eleanor, Emilio, Steve and Augustine. The family would like to extend a special expression of gratitude to their cousin Christine Pena and the Poudre Valley Hospital ICU for their care and compassion. Those who desire may view Mrs. Sonday, 4 - 6 p.m., Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Rosary Service will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church on Monday at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
