Andrzej Kus

Andrzej Kus, age 74 of Windsor, CO went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 11, 2022. Andrzej was born on May 28, 1947 in Kamien Pomorski, Poland to Piotr Kus and Alicja Sawicka (Joseph Jakubiec).

He is preceded in death by his father, Piotr; mother, Alicja; and brother, John.

Andrzej is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Zenia Kus; children, Elizabeth Hein (John), Gregory Kus (Laurie); grandson, Zachary Hein; granddaughter, Sydney Hein; brother, Zbigniew Kus (Sophie); step- father, Joseph; sister-in-law, Stella; brother-in-law, Frank (Mary); and several nieces, nephews and extended family members who he loved dearly.

Andy was proud to serve in the US Army and to serve our great nation. He worked as a mechanic, machinist and as a service representative in many US states and many world countries. He loved and enjoyed travels with his family. He loved planes, air shows, the outdoors, biking and nature. Andy was always ready to give his helping hand to whomever he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Andrzej's Life will be held on Saturday, May 28,2022, at 11:00AM at Sawa's Old Warsaw Restaurant.

God saw you getting weaker, calmer, so He did what He thought best. He came and stood beside you, and He whispered, "Come to rest." We could not understand it, no matter how we tried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
