Anacleto Rodriguez, 83, of Fort Collins went home to be with the Lord on March 22, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was born December 11, 1927 in Los Angeles, California to Felipe Rodriguez and Leonor Irbarren. Anacleto was raised in Sabinas, Coahuila. On January 21, 1950 he married Piedad Baldez in Sonora, Texas. They then moved to Colorado in 1965. Anacleto worked on numerous Farms in Texas and also worked in Construction for many years. He enjoyed watching old western movies, woodwork crafts, gardening and spending time with his family. He was a kind man with a big heart, a great father and the best grandfather. He was affectionately called "Tata" by all his family.
He is survived by seven children, Manuel Rodriguez, Martha Marquez, Elias Rodriguez, Alva Arredondo, Edna Chavez, Idalia Aguilar, John James Rodriguez; a brother, Rodolfo Rodriguez of Sabinas Coahuila; 23 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Felipe and Leonor; wife, Piedad Rodriguez, and sister, Herminia Rodriguez. He will be greatly missed by all and will live on in our hearts forever. Those who wish may view Mr. Rodriguez Friday, Saturday and Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Rosary will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
