Amil "Butch" Demrow, 69, of Fort Collins passed away on January 7, 2020, after a brief stay in hospice following a battle with cancer. Butch was born February 17th, 1950, in Louisville, Kentucky to Mary (Peek) and Amil "Jake" Demrow. Butch was the oldest of 6 children. After graduating from Stanford (Ky) High School in 1968 he attended Eastern Kentucky University. Butch graduated in 1972 with a B.S. in Business Management. Following college, Butch moved to Denver, Colorado to start a career in the banking industry.
It was in Denver that Butch met his eventual wife of over 42 years, Virginia (Segura). Butch and Virginia have 3 children and two grandchildren who were the light of his life.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Becky, Bobbie Sue, and Bonnie. He is survived by his wife Virginia, brother Bill (Debbie), sister Betty (Bill) Grimes, sons Amil "Lucas" and Andrew, daughter Lindsey (Nick) Spallone, and grandsons Cole Demrow and Theodore Spallone, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 3:00 pm, Monday, 1/13/2020.
