Amelia Ramos, 82, of Fort Collins, died December 4, 2016 at a local nursing care facility.
Mrs. Ramos was born in Harlingen, TX on January 15, 1934 to Pedro Mercado and Gavina Ramos. She married Abel Ramos, Sr. on November 25, 1947.
Amelia lived in Fort Collins for over 40 years. She loved music, dancing and pictures of her family. She also loved being a homemaker.
Survivors include her sons: Rey, Abel, Gilbert, David, Jesse and Nick and her daughters: Antonia, Elva, Norma and Gloria. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brother, Felipe Mercado; son, Pete Ramos; and several children.
A Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mrs. Ramos from 9am to 4pm Wednesday and Thursday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins.
