Alvin Cordova passed away Aug. 6, 2007, surrounded by his family. Born in Cheyenne, Wyo., on Oct. 28, 1943, to Philip and Rosie Cordova, he resided in Fort Collins most of his life. He attended school in Fort Collins and worked for Dreher Foods and Holman Cement Plant. He married Virginia Aragon and they had four sons, they later divorced. He later married Carol Chapman and they became a blended family with his sons and her two children, Terry and Roberta, they also divorced and remained good friends. He loved camping and fishing in the Poudre River. He enjoyed gardening, playing dominoes and watching westerns. He is survived by his sons, Alvin, Virgil, and Keith. He was preceded in death by his son, Eric. He is also survived by several grandchildren, brothers and sisters. His wish was cremation and a brief memorial service will be held in conjunction with his mother Rosie Cordova's funeral service. Friends may send condolences to the family at
