Monday, July 29, 2013 Almo Donald "Tommy" Tomasini died after suffering a heart attack. He was born September 22, 1921 in Suisun, CA. He proudly served as a glider pilot in World War II and was stationed in various cities across the USA. While stationed in Fort Morgan, CO he met his future wife, Bettie Bolinger. They had two sons, Don and Mike while living in Brush. After the war he worked for General Electric in Cincinnati, OH. The family lived in Mississippi, California and then back to Colorado. While in Colorado he worked as head of the grounds crew at the University of Northern Colorado. After retiring, he and Bettie moved to Fort Collins. He is survived by his wife, Bettie; sons, Don Jean, Mike Ruth; grandchildren, Rhonda Robinson Kent, Ron Tomasini Stephanie, Cindy Sprenger Pete, Julia Casto Marc; and great grandchildren: Meagan, Justin, Michael Robinson, Josh, Emily, Nick Tomasini, Madeline Sprenger, and Elenora and Abigail Casto.
