Alice Rebecca Ingram, age 88, died on April 16, 2019, in Fort Collins, Colorado. Alice is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Louis Wakeland of Midland, Texas, grandchildren, Jim Collum, Becky Collum Graham, Aimee Wakeland Allen, Thomas Wakeland, and Gina Wakeland Garcia, great-grandchildren, Tanner Graham, Robert Collum, Michael Collum, Channing Maul, Katherine Craig, Regina Majors, Lane Wakeland and J.T. Wakeland. She is preceded in death by husband Jim Elmer Ingram, daughter Janie Ingram Collum and brothers, Neil and Harvey Russell.
Alice was born on November 27, 1930, in Breckenridge, Texas, to parents Cornelius Russell and Katie Colvin. She married Elmer Ingram on December 20, 1946 and Alice and Elmer lived in Breckenridge, Texas, Lovington, New Mexico and throughout Eastern New Mexico and Texas. Alice later resided in Midland, Texas and Fort Collins, Colorado.
Alice, known as "My-Mom" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will be fondly remembered for her smile, warm conversations and a great sense of humor. Alice was an excellent seamstress and made all her daughter's clothes, and in later life enjoyed crocheting with her granddaughter- in- law, Christy Collum. Alice cherished her friends and family and loved spending time with them. She will be deeply missed.
A private family service will be held at a later date, and the family would like to thank the North Shore Rehab and Health Facility for providing such loving care to Alice for the last year and a half. Memorial donations in memory of Alice may be made to Foundation of Aging for Larimer County (649 Remington St, Fort Collins, CO 80524).
