Listen to Obituary
Albert Parker Scott, Jr. passed away on November 4, 2014 at his beautiful Northern Colorado ranch with loved ones by his side. Al was born on August 19, 1944 in Los Angeles, California and is survived by his loving wife, Lesli; seven children, Parker, Jennifer, Allison, Matthew, Jordan, Ethan, and Jessica; and five grandchildren, Charlie, Brody, Andrew, Alina, and Ainsley. A man of many hats, Al was an investor, developer, author, collector, carpenter, firefighter, peace officer, and veteran of the United States Army. Al was a world traveler and outdoorsman who enjoyed playing polo, surfing, hunting, and fishing. A vociferous reader, Al's thirst for knowledge was rivaled only by his love of and talent for storytelling. Simply put, Al was a renaissance man. Yet his greatest joy remained his simplest, his family. To learn of and suggest ways to help Al's youngest children Ethan and Jessica, please email APScottChildrenMemorial@gmail.com . Interment with Military Honors, 9:00 a.m., Friday, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "A", Denver. Celebration of Life, Saturday, 3:00 p.m., Home of Al and Lesli Scott.
