Aida Vasquez Nevarez Rojo passed away at home on May 24. She was born on June 12, 1990 in Fort Collins. She is survived by her dad, Juan Vasquez and his wife Diane; her mom, Sandra Nevarez and her husband Carlos; her brother, Mauro; sister, Karina and other survivors include her grandparents, John and Monse of Wellington, Francisco and Maria of Fort Collins and Saul and Irma of Chihuahua, Mexico; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Aida was our pride and joy, through the good times and bad. Aida was very bright and intelligent. She had a heart of gold and was loved by many. Aida will be remembered for her passion toward writing her own poetry, singing, dancing, and playing sports, but mostly by her family because she was unique. We love you. She loved dancing to all kinds of music, and she loved to dance with her dad and grandfather, John Vasquez. Her hobbies included hair and fashion design, playing guitar, and she loved to cook. She is preceded in death by her birth father, Alberto Rojo and uncle, Joel Vasquez. A Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m Tuesday. Both services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father Damian De La Cruz, C.R. will officiate at the services. Interment will follow the mass at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Aida at 1-5 p.m. Sunday and noon to 5 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions can be made to Aida Rojo Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 West Olive St., Fort Collins, Colo. 80524.
