Agnes Marcella Duran Lucero, (Aggie) at 80 years, passed away peacefully July 18th, 2018 at her home in Fort Collins, Colorado. She was born February 20, 1938 in Denver.

In life Aggie was an example of courage and strength to her family. Aggie was a natural care giver not only did she raise her own children and grandchildren, While ensuring her own happiness, she also dedicated herself to her family's happiness. Known as Granny but she cared for anyone that came into her life. Granny's door was always open to friends and family who would come over for her famous tortillas.

Granny would let you know when she had a bingo game and she usually had a few every week. She was always lucky and made many friends at the bingo hall. Granny loved to travel and was always out doing something. Even if it was a simple trip to the store, she just had to put her lips on first. You could find her at the local casino or bingo parlor any time she could get her hands on extra money. She was a talented cook and loved to make tortillas for her guests. Aggie was a strong women and loved to travel or just be out and about the town. She will always be loved and be remember by many.

Aggie would go without while going above and beyond for others. She was a teacher, a mother, a wife, and a friend that had a lot to offer. She was always very happy, positive, loving caring, and patient with everyone. She was also very witty. Above all, she is the best loving mother anyone could have, and we will miss her dearly


Agnes was the beloved Wife of her one and only true love of 63 years, Antonio Lucero. A devoted Mother to Tony, Daniel (Cindy), Linda (Joe), and Tina (Henry). Adoring Grandmother to Vanessa, Jose, Marcus, Sofia, Anthony, Nicholas, Sara, Steven, and Marcella. Loving Granny to Isaiah, Angel, Ariana, Lucas, Orlando, Marcus, Anthony Jr., Devaney, Davyn and Ava. Agnes is also survived by her brothers, Jodi and Freddy Duran of Portland, Ore. She was preceded in death by her Son Tony, Grandson Nicholas, Sisters Rosie, Lucy, and Linda. Brothers Willie, Matty and Jimmy.

Services will be held Tuesday 9:30am at Holy Family Church on 326 N Whitcomb St. Fort Collins Colorado 80521. A reception will follow at the Northside Aztlan Center 112 E. Willow St. Fort Collins, CO from 12-2
