Abel F. Ramos

Abel F. Ramos, Sr., 84, of Fort Collins, died September 19, 2014 at his home. Mr. Ramos was born July 8, 1930 in Harligen, Texas to Jesse and Antonia Ramos. Abel married Amelia Mercado in November of 1946 in Harligen, Texas. Mr. Ramos lived 50 years in Fort Collins. He worked as a Janitor. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his wife, Amelia; sons, Abel Jr., Jesse, Ray, and David Ramos and Nick Lopez; daughters, Antonia Rodriguez, Elva, Norma and Gloria Ramos; brothers, June and Lalo Flores; sister, Maggie Flores and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mr. Ramos at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Tuesday from 12:00 -4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Abel Ramos, Sr. Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
