Nicholas Boaz Greenwood was born on May 17, 2002. He passed away on May 22, 2008. Nicholas is now being held tightly in our hearts and securely in the arms of his God. The middle of five children, Nicholas had a special connection to all his siblings and everyone who knew him. Nicholas was always the first to help, the first to cry, the first to hug, and best of all, the first to laugh. He loved to learn cowboy stuff from his brother, Jacob. He loved to wrestle his brother, Job. He loved to dance with his little sister, Hattie, and he loved caring for his baby brother, Billy. He loved special days on the ranch with his daddy. When his busy days were done, you could always find Nicholas in his most favorite place - his mama's lap - softly stroking her hair and face with his little brown bear paws. Nicholas always made sure that, by day's end, his love was shared with everyone around him. Nicholas will be dearly loved and missed by his parents, Bill and Bernadette Greenwood; his four siblings, Jacob, Job, Hattie Rose, and little Billy; his grandparents, Linda Lamb and Clyde and Tinka Greenwood; his two best friends, Walker Heckendorf and Thea Bekkedahl; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death and will be laid to rest next to his grandpa, Francis Lamb. A rosary will be held, Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. at Blessed John 23rd University Center. The miracle of Nicholas's life will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 29th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, with a burial service and reception immediately following at the Lamb Ranch in Livermore.
