She was preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Natividad Castaneda. Her sister Rosie Castaneda and her brother Gilbert Castandeda and her former husband Arthur P. Jimenez. She is survived by two daughters. Anna Jimenez (Richard Lopez) and Rose Jimenez-Heimann. Four grandchildren, Eric Jimenez, Robert “Ty” Rowland & (Nikki), Brooke Jimenez &(Keith Abercrombie), Anthony Heimann and 9 great grandchildren. Julie is survived by seven sisters, Rachel Castaneda, Christine Pena, Henrietta Echeverria & (Dave), Debbie Sanchez & (Amos), Frances Castaneda, Monica Weaver, Valerie Padilla and one brother, Dee Castaneda & (Rhonda), several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends She was born in Fort Collins, CO on February 17, 1944. She attended Holy Family Catholic School and Fort Collins High School. She worked in the fields at an early age with her family and in the health care industry. Julie enjoyed reading, especially about the Lord, watching the Broncos play, fishing, loved the outdoors, spending time with her family, laughing with her sisters and friends. Through it all she always gave thanks to the Lord God. Julie’s faith in the Lord never waivered whether it was in good times or bad times. A private rosary and funeral mass will be held at a later date.
