Jeanette Rochelle Cuney

June 4, 1943 - May 20, 2022

Jeanette Cuney 78 died at home surrounded by her husband, daughter, and a granddaughter on May 20, 2022, after a short battle with cancer. Jeanette was born June 4, 1943, at her grandmother’s home in Guyman, Oklahoma. Jeanette was the ultimate wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her family and was their anchor through many relocations as her husband pursued his career. Jeanette babysat several grandchildren, transported them to school, and attended their sporting events. Through the early years Jeanette worked at CSU library in Fort Collins, Graybar Electronics in Seattle, Bonded Collections in Fort Collins, and Costwatch Consulting in Boulder. The family children were active showing horses and she volunteered in the office at horse shows. She played golf, loved vacations in California, Jamaica, Hawaii, and enjoyed cruises with friends. Jeanette especially loved decorating her home and had a passion for working in her yard, planting flowers, and sharing ideas with her good friend and sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband Jac, daughter Stephanie (Jay) Guilliams, son Sean (Krista) Cuney, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. Services will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel in Fort Collins at 1:00 pm June 3, 2022, with interment at Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to TRU Community Care, 2594 Trailridge Drive East, Lafayette, CO 80026 a Hospice organization.
