Susan Elaine Horn

Susan Elaine Horn was born on September 29, 1950 in Lynn, Massachusetts to Kenneth and Antoinette Wing. She graduated from Lynn English High School in 1968. Susan moved to Fort Collins in 1977 and was employed by Poudre School District from 1980 to 2003. During her 23 years of service in PSD, Susan worked in the fields of Athletics, Benefits and Finance. Susan's passion was her family and she was known to all by her abundant laughter and amazing sense of humor. Susan had a perseverance that was admired by all that surrounded her. Her treasures in life were her grandchildren of which she cared for daily. Susan's spirit will be in our hearts forever. Susan is survived by her Son, Andrew Horn; Daughter Corey Martin; Son-in-law, Scott Martin; Grandchildren, Theo Hundley, Alex Hundley and Elaine Martin; Nephews, Anthony and Christopher Gilmore; Great Nieces, Myah and Madelyn Gilmore; Brother-in-law, Roland Gilmore. Susan was preceded in death by her Parents, Kenneth and Antoinette Toni Wing; and her Sister, Nancy Gilmore. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 West Olive Street, Fort Collins, CO.
