Sherene Davis O'Quinn
June 25, 1941 – August 27, 2025
With grateful hearts and deep sorrow, the family of Sherene Davis O'Quinn announces her passing on August 27, 2025, at the age of 84.
Sherene was born on June 25, 1941, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Chester "Rex" Davis and Reva Goodnight Davis. From an early age, she displayed the strength, determination, and independence that would define her life. She built a career as a dedicated field engineer for Mountain Bell and later Qwest, working in a male-dominated field at a time when few women did, an accomplishment she carried with pride.
Faith was the foundation of Sherene's life. She loved Jesus with all her heart and modeled steadfast devotion for her family and those around her. She was a woman who worked hard, lived with integrity, and poured her love into raising her three children. Her happiest moments were found in simple joys: time spent with her family, drinking coffee all day, and especially days spent in the mountains, her forever refuge and happy place.
Sherene will be remembered for her fierce independence, her resilience, her fiery spirit, and her unwavering love for her family. She is survived by her three children, Vicki O'Quinn Paul (Gerry Paul), Justin O'Quinn, and Krysty O'Quinn Ronchetti (Mark Ronchetti); her seven beloved grandchildren, Ashlee Paul, Travis Paul, Saylor O'Quinn, Gage O'Quinn, Savannah O'Quinn, Ava Ronchetti, and Ella Ronchetti; and her cherished great-grandchild, Remy Paul. She also leaves behind extended family and friends who were touched by her life and legacy.
Though she has left this world, Sherene's faith gives her family comfort knowing she is now at peace in her eternal home. We imagine her joyfully reunited with loved ones who have gone before her and walking mountain trails in Heaven with the Lord she loved.
A private family service will be held to honor her life at Grandview Cemetery. A Reception will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 12 to 2 pm at City Park Church, 1725 W. Mulberry St., Fort Collins CO 80521.
Sherene's life was a testament to faith, perseverance, and love. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
