Robert Walter Sievers

Bob Sievers, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home on May 28th, 2018. A Michigan native and graduate of Michigan State University, he retired from the business world and found a new home in Fort Collins, where he lived for 20 years. Bob appreciated nature, art, stylish hats, sharing tales of Alaskan salmon fishing, a good meal, and a clever joke – all in the same evening, if possible. He is survived by his two children, Tara (David) and Tom (Erica), and two grandchildren; his brother Al and sister Karen (Karl) Pfister; nieces and nephews Kirsten, Michele, Marc, Scott, Ted, Jason, and Alexandra, with their families; his good friend Harold; and his caregiving team led by Tami with Kathleen. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Max and Alice, and his sister-in-law Georgia. A life celebration will be held in Fort Collins on June 6, 2018; with a service in Michigan later in the summer.
