Peggy Lou Dale passed away peacefully on August 25, 2019. She was born in Alva, Oklahoma on March 13, 1933, to Robert and Elizabeth Palmer.
She grew up on a farm and completed high school and beauty school in 1951.
Peggy met her penpal Alfred in June of 1950. They had corresponded since 1948 and they were married on July 28, 1950.
She enjoyed her five children, and was involved in school activities as a den mother for several years. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, camping, and spending time with the grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends. She never met a stranger.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Alfred, son Ernest Dale, sister Joy Ann Rhynes, and two grandchildren; Anna and Doug.
Peggy is survived by daughters; Janice Harden (Paul), Linda Ashley (Brian), and Sherry Beaver (Lou), son; Delbert (Faye), grandchildren; Aldene, Edie, Wendy, Melissa, Bradly, Ashley, Caitlyn, Ethan, and Devin, great grandchildren; Nevan, Cayne, Kiara, Airrabella, Elyssabeth, Joseph, Brylynn, and Thomas, brothers; Larry Palmer (Donna), and Gary Palmer (Janey), and many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
