Patrick Montgomery, born and raised in his beloved Colorado, left this world Saturday to walk with the Lord. He was a proud and loving father, brother, son, uncle, friend and a doting husband. Patrick adored his wife, Sei-Young and his children, Sean and Jessica. An animal lover, Patrick enjoyed working and training his dogs. He was born in Fort Collins and raised in Buckeye where agriculture was near and dear to his heart. A man of boundless passion, Patrick enjoyed fishing, hiking, and learning many new talents. He graduated from Poudre High School in 1997, and later graduated from Northeastern Junior College. He worked many years for Matsuda Farms, Grant Farms, Aurora Organic Dairy and most recently for North Poudre Irrigation Company. A devout man, Patrick attended the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Collins regularly with his family. Patrick was a true patriot and loved his country. He leaves behind his wife Sei-Young; son, Sean; daughter, Jessica; mother, Ginger Montgomery; father, Ken Montgomery and Linda; sister, Kristi Dressler and Troy; brother , Marc Montgomery and Anabella; nephews/nieces, Caleb, Hannah, Isaac, Becca, Tessa, Addy, Tripp, and Maximilian; uncle, Tom; McMillen, aunt Pam Marmon, the Matsuda family, who always played a big part in his life, and many cousins and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald McMillen, Ethel Baba McCurry, Sam Montgomery, Edna Williams; and uncle, Donald McMillen, II. Patrick was an avid outdoorsman and loved the natural world, fishing the streams of Colorado and researching the history of the Poudre River. He enjoyed communing with nature and God. He always had such a kind heart and big smile to greet others. He will be missed by those who had the pleasure to know him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First National Bank for an education fund for Sean and Jessica in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80538. Visitation will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, at 3:00pm at First Presbyterian Church, 531 S. College Avenue.
