Norma Jean (Welham) Mayes, 80, of Greeley passed away December 21, 2020 in Greeley.
Norma was born July 8, 1940 in Johnstown to Stanley and Eleanor Welham. Norma grew up on the family farm and attended schools in the Johnstown area. On January 14, 1959, Norma married Ray M. Mayes. Ray and Norma were married for 53 years until Ray passed away in 2012.
Norma was a homemaker and an excellent cook! She enjoyed camping, gardening and other outdoor activities. Norma also enjoyed playing cards and board games with family and friends. Norma loved spending time with her grandsons (Dylan and Logan) attending their hockey games and school activities.
Norma is survived by her daughter Sheila (Steve) Bohlender of Greeley; grandchildren Dylan Bohlender and Logan Bohlender, of Denver; sisters Joyce Middleton and Joylyn Baldwin both of Greeley; and brother Glenn Welham of Longmont.
Preceding Norma in death are her parents, her husband Ray, brothers Stanley Welham, and Jack Welham, and sister, Ellen Carlson-Jaksoniak.
A private graveside service was held at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
