Mary B. Ramirez, 93, of Fort Collins, died May 20, 2007, at Longmont United Hospital, Longmont. Mrs. Ramirez was born March 6, 1914, in Walsenberg, to Eliseo "Levi" Belo and Gertrudes Pacheco Belo. She attended local area schools. Mary married Florencio Ramirez in October 1932 in Fort Collins. She lived 92 years in Fort Collins. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing and long walks. Mary was a committee woman for the Democratic Party in Fort Collins. Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her two sons, Gilbert and Mary Ramirez of Greeley, Raymond and Carmen Ramirez of Longmont; three daughters, Mary Ellen Davis of Monrovia, Calif., Rosalee and Lionel Perez of Fort Collins, and Eileen and Chick Walters of Fort Collins; two sisters, Bernice Valencia of Denver, and Virginia Martinez of Windsor; 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers; a daughter, Susie; a grandson, Rick; and her husband, Florencio. A memorial service will be at Bohlender Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday.
