Mary Lou Gallegos, 97, of Ft. Collins passed away at home on January 1, 2019. Mary Lou was born on September 21, 1922 in Sante Fe, New Mexico to Frank Sanchez and Mary Gallegos Sanchez.
She and her husband, Abel Gallegos raised their family on the family farm, north of Ft. Collins.
Survivors include her 10 children, Dennis Gallegos, Jim Gallegos, Gloria Roder, Linda Lamb, Loretta Gallegos, Mary A. Gallegos, Barbara Gallegos, Ricky Gallegos, Mike Gallegos, Don Gallegos; a sister, Lillian Robbins, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding Mary Lou in death are her parents, husband, five brothers, two sisters, and two sons.
A rosary will be held, 7 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be held 9:30 a.m., Monday, January 7, 2019 also at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Mary Lou Gallegos Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
