Mary H. Farias

Mary H. Farias, 61, of Fort Collins, died May 9, 2010 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Farias was born April 22, 1949 in Brady, Texas to Eginio and Soila "Medrano" Laureles. Mary was married to Samuel Farias. Mrs. Farias has lived in the area since 1972. She raised 10 brothers and sisters as well as five of her own children. Survivors include her husband, Samuel; sons, Manuel, Julian, and Daniel Galvan all of Fort Collins; daughters, Julia Vargas of Glenwood Springs, Colorado and Mary G. Farias of Fort Collins; brothers, Eginio Laureles of Brady, Texas, Robert Laureles of Snyder, Texas, Reynoldo Laureles of Laporte, Colorado and Raul Laureles of Fort Collins; sisters, MaryLou Garza, Soila Mendoza, and Esmeralda Martinez of Fort Collins, Virginia Garza of Watauga, Texas, Beatrice Escamilla of Dallas, Texas and Ernestine Tijernia of Fort Collins; nineteen grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding Mary in death are her parents, and two brothers. A Funeral Service will be held at Living Water Church, 600 9th Street, on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mrs. Farias, today from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
